It's absolutely frustrating, I found a Texas law that states:

But in order for a company to come out they need permission from the owner.
Anyhow, I will start looking into an attorney in order to terminate my lease early.

Question for you Aspy.
So my daughter is moving out to an apartment and it says move in date is August 14.
However it appears that they aren’t pro rating her rent at all. She’s supposed to pay the full amount. Does this sound right?

We had a contractor come out last Saturday and the compressor is bad but the entire unit needs to be replaced. The owner didn't like the price that they were quoted since the parts are not covered under the warranty. They are sending out another contractor to get a "second opinion."

I'm no expert, but none of that sounds right. They can't charge you for days that the apartment was not available.

So the home warranty is held by the guy who owns the house you are renting from...it's not your warranty policy?
