Not traveling is sooooooo hard for me. It has been my whole life for a long time.
This has also made me realize that we know way too many essential people. We could totally go stay at a friend's camp but he is a firefighter. So who knows when he may be around the rona.

I thought about booking something next week, but they seem to only be allowing owners to be there. Unless Alabama has different rules than Florida?
We aren't beach people on our own (much prefer other types of trips), but it is sounding good with this covid stuff going on.

Did you look at AirBnB?
We were able to get a cabin no problem here through them. They disinfect the house after each guest, so we felt fine going. And it was SO nice to get a change of scenery for a few days.
Although I guess maybe they are being more strict with the high rise condo buildings on the beach.

HC, I need to look. I want to say maybe Alabama didn't have the ban on short term rentals that Florida did. I know both were allowing hotel stays too.. Hm.
We just found out Jones is delayed back to work until June 1 even with the restrictions being lifted, and I work from home anyway, so it would be a nice escape.

We are not really beach people but do weekends in Biloxi,Bay St. Louis, and orange Beach regularly because it is easy.
We love California and Colorado. Arizona and Utah were awesome as well.
We cancelled Alaska for the end of June
Daughter 1 is near yellowstone now so that was going to happen end of summer also.
We still need to go to the east coast.
I am high risk- I had 3 asthma attacks last night in isolation so just going anyway is not an option. I can't catch rona. I am on major house lockdown.
We love California and Colorado. Arizona and Utah were awesome as well.

I’ve only been to the Tahoe area of Cali but we loved it and want to go back. We were supposed to be going to Colorado this week but obviously that’s out.
