ACTUALLY,
The balls were changed before this season.

Actually, I am aware the balls were changed before this season, but they were not changed before game 5 as some people have insinuated.

quote:

Minute Maid Park's short left/right field are very advantageous for hitters. The gaps and center are not.
Dodger Stadium is known as a pitcher's park. The heat and atmosphere in games 1&2 helped the ball carry more than usual.

I am very well aware that Minute Maid Park is a "hitters" park and that the first two games of the world series were hot as frick, in fact, game 1 was the hottest, a game L.A. won. In game 2, in LA.. Houston won by a run.. 7-6. The first game in Houston, Houston won by what? 2 runs, then the next game.. LA won 6-2, 7-2.. something like that. then game 5 the Astros won by 1 run.

I just went back and looked at the scores. Astros have won 3 games by a total of 4 runs and the dodges have won 2 games by a total of 6 runs. The dodgers won game one, when it was at it's hottest.. And then in Houston by holding the Astros to only 1 run. If the Astros had a "clear advantage" they would have won by more than they have been winning. And if you are insinuating the temperature favored Houston, when they played in L.A. then why did the Dodgers win the hottest of the two games?

I said nothing of teams, but the hitters have had obvious advantages. Just making points to that.

i don't even care ... because i want that to be true so badly it hurts.
adam probably is a slow and gentle lover despite his pitching speeds.
