I have to agree with this. Sounds like SS just wants to do something good for someone else. He could use his experiences in life to relate to troubled kids and possibly prevent them from making some of the same mistakes he made.

Seriously, I don't know much about HPC. I know people who were members there for a while, some still might me... But this is for non-denominational churches in general.. Why are contractors attracted to these churches? Specifically contractors who gains a bad rep at some point? It also attracts people who needs to appear they are "changing their life", but are places like that a good place for contractors to pick up business?

Not all non denom churches are like this fwiw.

SS, the obvious answer is do what you feel is right, but ALWAYS with others. NEVER be alone with him. That policy (though it applied to females) had kept the Billy Graham ministry free of allegations for the 50+ years he ran things.
