I'm actually pretty solid at Triva and a good partner. I'm not the smartest guy, but i have a decent variety of interest that seem to bode well in trivia and I enjoy being a sponge for knowledge in those interest.... makes me end up having a good amount of 'useless' knowledge.... my issue is actually paying attention and staying somewhat sober. In a bar setting with a little alcohol in me, I end up bouncing around being this social butterfly instead of helping my team brainstorming.

Same here. Used to play at walkons back in the day but got too distracted by either the female bartenders washing dishes or the lobster claw machine.

on our old team, in our heyday, i was like the organizer who developed better ways for our team to operate. i was also the guy who would figure out answers that the other people would half know. some nights i would crush and some nights i wouldn't contribute much, but i did all that other stuff pretty consistently
the new team isn't nearly as good b/c we lost some strong teammates so it's not as serious now and more of a goof off thing

no. he was trying to compile a bigger pic set and sfp and I kind of duped him into thinking we were going to go along with it. he sent us an email with a link to his account and asked us to add to it.

I almost did trivia at the Nail this past Tuesday. I'm not the biggest fan of theirs though.
Also I suck st they Tv, movie, music questions and it seems like they do a bunch of that. Also not strong at Art questions.
I would think a team thrown together from a message board would do pretty well since it's not people from the same social circles who more than likely have the same interest therefore same strengths.

Last time I played trivia at a bar with some gfs our team name was Joey Triviani.
I joined a meetup.com group in Scottsdale for women(single and married) in their 30s. Pretty active group. I try to go to many of the events they have if it is a night I'm not already working. I've met several new gfs out here the past year this way.
