App State has over 17,000 students. As a comparison. A school like.. Nebraska, has around 20k students. But since enrollment doesn't play a huge factor..

Their stadium does only hold 30k, but Oregon's stadium holds just over 50k (I think they have standing room only sections.. I know, I know, sections I will never be able to go in and I am not sure if that is factored into that number or not, but if App St gets into a P5 conference it would bring more money to the program and they could easily add another 30k seats.

If they are a team that's able to compete in a P5 conference, they will have the fan support. Kansas is a P5 school. App State could replace Kansas tomorrow and be more competitive.
