I also use an app called "Wine Searcher" to track the purchase prices. It's decently helpful in checking the base price when debating wines I've never heard of at a restaurant, but most of the vendors they list are online retailers.

I've seen people use an app that scans the bar code on a bottle and it gives them the base prices.....I've never used it but It seems to be very helpful....

Trust me when I say that you're not missing out. The excitement of multiple shrieking accusations of being a cyber fraud is overrated.

Pick up a good set of glasses and fill 1/5 of the way up. When you start actually smelling and tasting the wine, rather than gulping it for it's alcohol content, it becomes a whole new obsession.

I'm too poor for that shite. I've got to spend all my money on horses.

I do have glasses with racehorses on them.

General consensus is the Muslim bombing in NYC thread in September. Personally i think it was being drunk and rowdy on the in game Scoreboard.

He has the most interesting threads on this site. Hoping to raise awareness.

I have a few friends that drink wine from coffee mugs.

I hand wash the Riedel glass every night. Usually go about 6-7 years without breaking one. Now that I've said it, I'll probably break one tonight.

I use these when doing something active. Shatterproof but stemless. I hate stemless.

That would get me 7-8 bottles; maybe 9.

Although I have spent $70 on one bottle before.

I have those exact kind. They're plastic though. I've dropped and broken too many and spilled enough wine that my wife won't let me drink out of the good glasses anymore.
