There are a MILLION details to the story. But basically.. employee (my supervisor) quit in June due to mistreatment. She was family of the CEO and president. Her departure caused essentially a meltdown with them. They also decided that the company she moved to was a competitor, but it isn't..

Her and I were friends and remained friends after she left.
Last month, I caught the president of the company secretly digging in my personal cell phone -- deep into my texts with the ex employee. He did it 4 times in ONE day. The details about each time he did it and how creepy it got are what makes the story good, but that's too long to type.

Tried threaten to fire me to scare me. Then bribed me with all kinds of extra perks--like giving me ownership of accounts that I didn't have before. The very next day, tricked me into "messing up" by missing a meeting that I was not even told to go to... screamed at the top of his lungs at me in the office, made me go to the warehouse where he could continue yelling at me.
Decided it is best we "end our relationship", which entailed insulting me and saying I wasn't good for the job anyway (after months of telling me how great I'm doing and how I am nowhere near at risk of losing my job even though my supervisor had quit). Even wrote up a fake "sad face journal" of times that I had made them unhappy so they could use it in court and claim that I was already on the verge of being let go if I pursued legal action.

Agreed to call it a "amicable split" and pay me through the next couple weeks if I sign something saying I won't pursue legal action for them going through my personal property and if I don't tell anyone what happened ("anyone" meaning clients and coworkers, really).

I was creeped to the core about what he did going through my phone like that (I have photos and things he has no business seeing -- he's 50 years old). But I did not think it was "illegal". It was not until I spoke to coworkers and a lawyer that I Googled and realized it is not only creepy and weird, but also not okay for him to have done.

No shite...My phone goes everywhere with me when I'm at work.

I was in sales, and we had meetings all day. He made me drive the truck (massive truck that I can barely drive) and he was on the phone the entire time. He emails a lot, so I assumed he was emailing.

After 10-15 minutes of me asking him to direct me where to go, I went to grab my own phone to map it -- only to realize that the entire time he has been on the phone, it has been MY phone in his hand.

I thought surely that can't be the case. But he had it in his hands again later. Claimed he was "mapping", but the maps weren't even pulled up when he gave it back to me. Then each time my phone would go off during the day, he tried to play it off and nonchalantly ask who it was. That's when I knew for sure what he was doing.

He then asked to use it because his "was dying" once, which when I hesitated he said "Oh it's okay, nevermind" .. again, trying to play it off. And finally, the 4th time, got an employee to call my phone for him to talk to them, and he kept it in his hands after they hung up until I took it back.

Y'all give CR a lot of shite, but he has been a good person to chat with through this. He brought up a good point about people in positions of power taking advantage of a young girl who hasn't been in the "real world" long, like myself. Because I am too chicken shite to stand up for myself.

Seeing y'alls reactions now ... man. I didn't think it was THAT serious and maybe I was being dramatic, but everyone has reacted they way y'all are now.
