Any good plans this weekend? I'm thinking of going out to Judge Perez Friday night to save me a spot for Nemesis. Chalmette can't be that bad overnight.

You don't have to live that way...
But if you stay with her, ice packs are pretty cheap and easy to store in the freezer. Frozen bags of peas work too.

I have ridden in this parade since the first year in 2006. Sadly that streak will come to an end this year.

I can't say that I've ever been. I may hit up a few of the smaller krewes this year. I went to a few in laffy last season; it was the same 12 floats 3 days in a row.

I did. Took my lovely daughters (no pics)out for dinner, then just chilled. We celebrate it a little differently than most for other reasons.
