Then we won’t have a tree to burn at our neighborhood tree burning party next month.

You could split the difference and get a real wreath for the scent/burning later and maybe a faux teensy tabletop tree big enough to hold the "special" ornaments? I know you've got a lot on your plate lately- hang in there!

You don’t have to bring a tree. Last year people were going up and down the alleys looking for trees to burn. I think we burned at least 10-15 trees last year.
But of course there is alcohol.
