Our Golden ( 8 years ) has been limping for a week and not improving. My local vet did the whole examination, X-ray’s etc and says it’s arthritis......maybe? I want a 2nd opinion and LSU Vet is closed.

Golden Retriever 100 lbs - TIA

Dr. Julia Coutin on O’Neal Lane. Really good canine orthopedist, cannot recommend her enough.

You can try another local vet. Most are open by appointment only.

But it sounds like he's just aging and overweight. Try an anti-inflammatory and bone and joint supplements.

Associated Vets Greenwell Springs. Pretty much never spend more than $100 a visit.
