I would imagine if you were in Coates Hall and that text came through you would be shaken at least a little bit. I know I would
Well, it kept me from meeting up with David Pollack.

GTFO. Not calling idiots out when they do idiotic things just allows more idiots to do idiot things.

What the event did show is the dangerously piss-poor alert system LSU has.

What I have a problem with is the news stations running with the information based on nothing more than the fact LSU students and faculty received an alert. At that time, the only people who needs to know are people in that area. Students and faculty.
Much like your idea to attach remote bombs to candy bars and other small items to prevent shoplifting, this nonsense shows the defective nature of your thinking. So you want LSU to have an alert system that determines where each student And faculty is at any given time in order to only alert those few, and then expecting them not to broadcast it to social media.
Do you have some sort of brain tumor?

I've had an LSUPD officer in one of my classes before and he had his gun. But he wore his uniform everyday.
But people are brainwashed and have no situational awareness or critical thinking these days. A professional looking person with a holstered pistol isn't a mass shooter. I know I'm getting older but young people are completely retarded these days.
And I doubt many students are shaken and alarmed. From the thread it sounded like most on campus were goofing off and joking about it while it was going on. The only people shaken are the SJW idiots like noose and racist message on my door girl.

yeah, this is what I don't understand. its in a holster people. guy carrying it is either a cop or some dumbass open carry type individual. No need to panic the moment you see him.

My gf drove through the middle of campus during the middle of it and said people were just walking around like normal. Hell, she didnt even know what was going on until I told her
The media+social media is a bad combo

A lot of Communication studies students in Coates so I imagine there are a lot of snowflake liberals in that building waiting to cause a scene

If anything, I’m encouraged by yesterday’s events. I didn’t think LSUPD had it in them to be as quick and organized as they were securing the scene

Im with you. Agreed. How do you do that? Im probably ignorant to all the abilities of the interwebs but once a text is sent to one person all it takes is a tweet and it is like a flame to a gasoline. I guess you are specifically speaking of new orgs?
