OU installed it. My daughter is taking advantage of it for one class, but she's got 4.0's in all other classes and is nailing those, so will keep those as is.

Doctors, Nurses, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Nurse anesthetist, etc. etc. all pretty much have to have 80 or higher in their courses or it is a fail. 2 fails and you are out. Oh, and an 80 is a C, no cushy 10 point scales.

Given the large number of students that graduate with honors just due to grade inflation which makes a high GPA sort of meaningless why not just go P/F and be done with it.

It’s good enough for being a airline pilot, all the FAA written tests require 74% to pass, you get nothing extra for making a higher score making them essentially P/F.

Pass/Fail is for those dumbasses with a shitty GPA who are on the verge of failing looking to preserve what little grade average they have. Online classes that are due to the coronavirus are mostly unmonitored and allow for open book. If you can't average a B googling then there is no hope
