Has to be USPS not FedEx or UPS for that to work.

Louisiana has pretty shitty weed for the most part

We have the same shite Cali and Colorado get. Dealers now just have it shipped.

Legal weed has made illegal weed more attainable. Has anyone seen Reggie lately?

RIP Brett. It's a shame this kid will possibly lose his life over fricking weed. I don't smoke weed but there no reason it should be illegal.

While he probably won't do time. (having that money there was dumb, he could have paid the lawyer with a third of that or less, prepaid visa cards, casino chips, something ) This will be costly, LSU may kick him out, at the least he will have one year probation. He will have a felony, but these things get expunged and if it is his first offense, they may even offer a deal to have it reduced with complement of a very costly drug court program.
I don't think modern prosecutors are trying to ruin lives over weed anymore. LSU student, no other crimes, decent grades and attendance? He wouldn't even have a record. They may offer an 894.

No crime = no black market = no arbitrage or risk = little to to profit = no dealers

Not sure why people always say this about dealers, since the dealers would generally not exist if drugs were legal.

If he has a good lawyer and is a first offender, the worst he will probably get is probabtion and weekend jail. Know a guy who was busted for distribution and had to spend 7 weekends in jail. He would report fri night and would get out Sun around 5 or so. The crazy part was he even got to choose the weekends he went.

True. My bad

Other than being a dumbass and getting a dog brought through car it should work.

If your on drugs while transporting them it makes it much more risky

You understand how marijuana in bulk prices work right? It doesn't break down to gram values. Police also inflate numbers for articles like this

weekend warrior. I knew someone who had a similar thing in Gretna. Dude had to report at the jail for 5 on Friday and they usually let him out Sunday afternoon.
He said they kept him in the bunks in holding, never processed him with the people spending time there.

I guess it's better than spending all that time continuous.

Yep he was in Gretna as well. Said it was a cakewalk. He was with five or so other guys in their own cell and pretty much did odd end things all weekend, like taking out trash, passing out food, and they would mop twice a day. The guys in holding woukd get pissed bc they would get any extra left over food.

Hopefully we will finally see some movement at the federal level with the new administration. Trump removed many pages on the White House website, one of which was official opposition to marijuana legalization.
