You have to try before you just fire someone because they’ve taken virtue signaling too far. It’s not like she can’t be under more scrutiny. Just like the racist 17 yo is going to be. Doesn’t mean the kid shouldn’t have an education or get a job down the road.

That would be grounds IMO for termination.

Well, therein lies the issue.

How can the school know she's being purposely malicious towards particular students? Unless the school has her list, they really can't prove anything unless they can make apples to apples comparisons.

Because unlike someone whose opinion or actions may be separate from their professional capacity, this woman is actively threatening to use her power to rob citizens of their rights. She even tagged her employer.

Its the difference between a loan officer taking a picture in black face vs posting on twitter that they will refuse loans to black people. One is a bad decision; one is illegal.

Ask the left. That’s All their game.

For the record, I don’t favor termination. I favor humiliation.

Do they have to prove that? If she said "I'm going to drop all asian students from my classes", but didn't actually do it, would that still not be grounds for removal?

Again, I said she has taken it too far. And that she shouldn’t be allowed to go through with it. I don’t think step one should be firing her without due process. Call me crazy.

The right is too nice, the Democrats and their ilk are vile and ruthless and will stop at nothing to extract their pound of flesh. The left can post all sorts of vile/disgusting statements on Facebook with no retribution, yet someone on the right posts a valid clean statement they risk being vilified and shamed.

I have Facebook and use it to post fishing and kid pictures. Anything else and you’re asking for trouble. Sad we are to that point!

Yeah, it only takes a minimal amount of reasoning and deduction to predict where these things usually go. Their tactics are so predictable even a moron like me can call their shots.

I know it’s their game. Which is why I’m against it.

Well, she didn't say students that have certain physical features would receive certain treatment. She just said it would be based on her secret list. It's hard to prove it, especially if she purposely makes the testing in her class very subjective to the person grading said tests. I had an ecology professor like that.

Why is short-circuiting a kid's academic career over using a "poo-poo word" her answer?

Because it’s her way of virtue signaling to the mob which has given her the praise she desired. I’m not defending her.

Another LSU bio professor jumping in on the action and takes it a step further claiming the kid in the video is threatening the lives of his students.

quote:

When you threaten the lives of my students, you don’t belong in my classroom. Do the right thing, LSU.

Keep in mind that these people associate saying "I think white privilege is bullshite" with actual violence.

The pivot in the narrative here is "student safety", not the speech. In other words, the speech is protected but if the instructor or other students don't feel safe because of the speech, they can take action.

The right as a whole doesn't try to get people fired for expressing opinions on social media, that are counter to the groupthink unlike the "progressives" such as this professor. At a certain point, the sane individuals are going to get to a breaking point and respond in kind and start using the left's tactics against them. Ms. Johnson may be a good place to start.
