LSU needs to call out the mayor

It’s time to clean up the area around campus imagine dropping your child off at college and taking the wrong exit to get there. One of there students got shot for no damn reason.

i mean, you're 100% correct.
but if someone, LSU, etc doesn't start putting pressure on the local authorities to clean up the crime around the campus, parents aren't going to want to send their children to LSU when there are plenty of in state and out of state universities who's surrounding area is safer.

Running LSU is politics. Calling out the mayor is a pipe dream.
They need to focus on teaching the proper use of “there” and “their” and other BUSINESSES need to call out the mayor and demand change.

Obviously won’t happen but that imo would be the “quickest fix” until law and order is restored to where you could be stop at a set of railroad tracks or red light and not have to worry about getting shot up

The only thing that would cause LSU interest in putting pressure on the city is if enrollment started to decline. That's clearly not the case yet.

The citizens should call out the mayor. Recall effort for exploding crime and not addressing it.
