You ought to talk to one of our boys in NOLA about why Weiss got the boot. Our buddy actually wrote a letter to the System President and had a bunch of people sign it to get Weiss out of office.

I would love to have Cheney Jo around still and challenge Tyson to take the Alton Sterling fact pattern and debate the merits of what happened
That would be a sight to behold.

I know. I was actually consulted on the matter. Gave my input and advised revisions to the original petition but ultimately didn't sign the final product.

Is traditions the same class that was called Civil Law Systems in the 1980's?

I have actually used a few things I learned in that class. I had Dahl, who was Argentinian I think, but educated in England, and he made me laugh because he couldn't say Ouachita, he would say "wa-Cheet'-ah Parish".

alot of the SBR vs NBR is the simple fact that economic classes usually live in the same area. Typically in this country, probably because of both government policy and personal responsibility, African Americans make up the majority of lower class individuals, that is why in almost every metropolitan city, you will have highly segregated neighbourhoods.
I found this map, LINK , every major city you see will have primarily white neighbourhoods and primarily black neighborhoods. I really do think this is more the way cities develop. It's not racial policies or something like that. Maybe governemnt policy can segregate it more or less but in all seriousness poor people live around poor people, middle class people live around middle class people and rich people live around rich people. It always goes this way.
If you have freedom you will have class divided neighboorhoods.

Well, with the shite I'm seeing on Facebook from other professors, and with Tyson's article, good luck with that.
It's frustrating.

The dirty secret is that people naturally want to self-segregate themselves because people like being around others with whom they share things in common with. As long as government is not mandating it happen (which they unquestionably still influence), let the people live where they want to live.

Randy Trahan couldn't finish a Symeonides exam. The Greek deliberately made the exam longer than anyone could possibly complete. He graded you in part on how far you got. I had him for Systems and Conflicts. He was a tough teacher, and he made us tough.

Yeah, you were incredibly helpful in counseling me into making a good decision. You, sir, are a genius, an intellectual giant.

I didn't want you lumped in with that faction.

Stopped reading when I realized that he'd run from the northside to get a nice house on the southside.
I'm sure it was way more convenient for all of his church and community work.

A couple things about this that bother me are:
- he complains about the blight and lack of medical care in NBR, yet his wife is a doctor runs her practice in SBR.
- His wife's practice is only a 15 minute drive from where Alton Sterling died to her offices, and only 10 minutes to Government from her offices. I don't know where they live or lived, but I'd love to map it and see the difference.
At best he is a hypocritical liar. Anyone want to open up the lines on whether his children attend a private school in SBR and the reasons he espouses if questioned?
