Like the Governors kids? Some major TAF donors kids? Politicians and major business owners kids? Those type of lower station folks?

Who the frick says “Lower Station” in this day and age?

Where do you come up with this shite?

Off the top of my head, Bobby Jindal's kids, Nick Saban's kids, Les Miles's kids

Not to mention how many kids go there because their parents are professors at LSU.

My granddaughter just got accepted into Kindergarden there. 500 applicants and 100 were accepted. The interview was pretty detailed from what my daughter told me.
Good luck, I've heard it's definitely worth it.

The student/teacher ratio at EHS is like 15:1 from what I understand. When I went to UHS is was around 30:1
I went to both. The student/teacher ratio was part of it, but there were other things.

Do you mean the governor that was an Indian or the governor that was formally a fricking plaintiffs attorney? Do you think that the Baton Rouge aristocracy considers either of those people one of them??

Read the posts. I’m saying that trash like Gordon McKernan sends his kids to UHigh. The upper tier families from Episcopal , St. Joseph’s, Catholic high look down on Gordon McKernan and his ilk.

Did mommy and daddy ever read you the story of the Princess and the Pea? If you don’t get this concept, then your bloodline never did feel the pea. Let’s just agree to disagree.

No such thing. Go back three generations in any of those families and you'll find a redneck dirt farmer or some immigrant pushing a vegetable cart. There ain't no bluebloods in BR. As the late John Maginnis said in one of his books, it was a place where somebody without any connections could get a leg up. Now there are people pretending to be old money, but that's all it is, a pretense. The honest ones admit their humble origins and are proud of it.

Worked the front desk at the Lab School my freshman year at LSU. Was randomly placed there for my student worker position.

Manny Miles was frequently in the office. Seemed like an a-hole.

Had to transport Johnny Jones to someone's office once.

I frequently had to deliver mail most of which included football recruiting letters. It was cool to see stuff coming in from the top teams all over the country. Dylan Moses, Nick Brossette, and Garret Brumfield got the most letters.

Talked to Cathy Miles on the phone once while I was at the front desk. She told me who she was and told me to let her kids know that they were supposed to go home with someone different today. Took me a second to realize who I was talking to and I was barely able to mutter a response. This was during one of my first weeks there and I was the only one in the office near the end of the day. I had no clue who to tell this to so I just left without telling anyone and never heard about it again. I frequently think back on how I probably seriously inconvenienced the Miles family.

We also had to frequently escort the young kids from their classrooms to the main office if they were being checked out early. One time I had to walk Bobby Jindal's kids to the front office by myself. I was shitting myself the whole time just thinking how insane it was that I was responsible for the governors kids for like five minutes.

I know, I know CSB. Just never had the chance to share these stories.
