Not a subtle brag!
By some stroke of luck we were offered a spot (today) at this preschool for the fall. We were already accepted at University Baptist on highland, but now I have 24hrs to commit or pass on LSU CDL preschool.

Any info/reviews you can share on either are greatly appreciated!

Go with the lab school. Middle and high school is worth it, once you're in you're in.

If you decline they might not offer you again.

I had heard that just because you got into the Pre-K program doesn't mean you get into the lab school. Is that true?

The lab school & lab preschool are unaffiliated. Just clarifying since the names make one think they are together or feed into each other. They don’t. At all.

Punny lab jokes guys!

This school isn’t affiliated with the “U-high cubs” Lab School, this is a Child Development Laboratory school run by LSU. It’s only a pre-school.

Are you on drugs? Why would you consider the previous name you mentioned when you could get into the lab school?

Anything before age 4 is not actually pre-school.

There is a lot of statistical evidence that shows that these “advanced” programs for children under six have very little benefit.

Great school. Had 2 kids there the last 2 years. No complaints. Moving on to Trinity to try and get into U-High later.

It goes from 7:30-5:15 so that’s a big plus. I wouldn’t say it’s super advanced or anything though.
