Legends is very family-friendly. Great food, great atmosphere, and definitely no rambunctious people or music. It kind of reminds me of Chimes.

Legends...it's an LSU bar/restaurant.

In the shadow of the empire state building.

I watched the bowl game versus Tx Tech there a few years ago.

Oh shite, we were in the same place at the same time

Legends!!

I stumbled on this place on my last day in NYC after being there for 3 months. I was walking to go checkout the Empire State building and I saw LSU stuff in the windows. I had to walk in and check it out. Its an old pub but it is decked out in LSU stuff. I was in awe when I walked in. The bartender was like um sir can I help you as I just looked at all the stuff lol. I sat at the end of the bar and watched the Red Sox beat the Pirates on opening day and flirted with the cute bartender the whole time.

If legends is full, go right next door(on the right). It’s not an LSU establishment necessarily, but they’ll put it on for you. Went there a couple years ago. They picked up our bar/ dinner tab because I was pulling in Legends overflow traffic.

Not many people know about it though.

Legends. Almost better than being at the game. They play the band songs at right times. Get there early.

There’s an LSU bar near the Empire State Building. I think it’s called Legends

the main UGA bar is not what I'd call family friendly on gameday. Everyone is wasted and they play explicit music during commercial breaks.
This year they added a second location that they're advertising for UGA fans in a more family friendly atmosphere.

Where would this happen to be? I'm headed to NYC for Thanksgiving and wanna catch the UGA/Tech game

How does Legends compare to Blondie’s from back in the day? Better?

LSU bars in NYC or Boston (baseball tavern) was damn near tiger stadium atmosphere back in the day.

Has anyone ever been to this bar called Bourbon Street Bar & Grill? BSB&G

Will be down there for Saints game and some friends were going there. I’ve never been so just going with the flow. Guess I will suggest Legends.

yep...a few folks who post on this site watch from there regularly and speak very highly of it as a pretty solid LSU hangout on gamedays. The pictures that I have seen look like a good time.

The family friendly place or the rowdy one?

Rowdy one is American Whiskey right by Penn Station. Don't know the new one.

I can't imagine a better bar for a UGA Saturday outside of the state of Georgia. It's a ton of fun. May be light crowd that weekend (the Rose Bowl was only like half full because of NYD) but I'd get there early. Wasn't ever a problem in the 5 years I was there, but when we got good this past season, I missed the first half of the first quarter of the UF game because I was waiting outside and my friend got there late and had to give up getting in for the first Auburn game.
