J Hopkins is the GOAT

Hopkins was good. Kolniak was over a lab I was in - everyone really liked him. Laid back guy in his jeans, t-shirt, and converse shoes. I didn’t realize he had left.

Possible to make an A in Cook’s class with hard work? Reviews seem mixed. Taking Hogan now for 1201.

At this point all the classes have online homework. Some professors have you do more practice problems than others but the gist is the same. I'd look up previous syllabi and see how each professor weights their class (participation, homework, exams, etc) then make a decision. If you generally do better on exams than hw, then stick with whichever professor weights the exams higher

In all honesty you could choose any of them, if you put in the work you will do well. Each one is a bit different when it comes to teaching styles and how they structure the course.
I think Hopkins is your best option. You will learn and retain information with him if you put in the work

Been quite a few years but I agree with the recommendation for Hopkins, I took him and hate chemistry (biology major) and he made class understandable and a pretty easy A

Yeah, it's not a gimme A, but it's not the hardest class to get an A in either. The final for both Chem 1000 level classes is a department exam and it's usually weighted around 25-33%. Her students usually have a way better average than the others because you're actually ready for it.

If you do poorly in it, time to consider a degree in education.
Hey fricker! I have a degree in education and I passed that class. Maybe he can try women’s studies
