When you lower admission standards in the name of equity, this is the long term result.

Two consecutive games with shootings, the right people will stop going out there and spending their hard earned money.

Campus was a disgrace today, before the shootings.

Everything about the university embraces this culture. It’s forced down our throats and we’re made to think we’re terrible humans if we don’t play along.

It's obvious that LSU gamedays has gone downhill over the years, particularly with the ghetto trash hanging out around Highland.

It's going to unfortunately come to the point where there's frequent fights and shootings before something is done.

I don’t know what the solution is but something is going to have to be done. There were roving groups of n’er do wells all over campus. Openly smoking pot. It smelled like Woodstock all over campus. There was a brawl in the section next to us during the game. The Baptist Student building on corner of highland and chimes was hit by flying bullets. Can the National Guard work game days?

Lsu desperately wanted to amp up the diversity on their campus. Mission accomplished, I guess.

I mean it’s adjacent to the BR ghetto so that’s to be expected. Lowering standards didn’t help either. LSU was already easy as frick to get into when I applied back in 02.

I moved back to Texas. Would rather my kids go to A&M at this point.

Commissioner of Higher Education, Kim Hunter Reed (former Obama admin) has specifically targeted increasing “underrepresented minorities” on La campuses over the past five years.

Agreed. This was our first game parking in the free lots off River Road. Lots of people not in any fan colors, urban outfits. Very different from years past.

Sidenote: the queen and king should have gone to the two from Stonewall. Instead it went to Arizona and Michigan, LSU do better!!!

Yep. I went to A&M for grad school. Honestly, I really enjoyed my year and a half there. Campus isn’t as nice but it’s a true college town. The culture is a little weird but still was a great place as a 21/22 year old.

Unless my kids get some sort of crazy scholarships, I have zero in wanting them at LSU. shite I may even rather them go to Texas State all things equal with regard to cost.

Pretty sure I’m not renewing my season tickets. Sad because they’ve been in my wife’s family for over 50 years

I said the same thing tonight. Inherited tickets from family. Been in our family since the 1950s. Been thinking about it for a few years just due to traffic, parking, fees, etc. The ghetto-ization and active gunfire may be the final straw.

My son was just accepted there for engineering. We’re not in Texas but they’ve offered him in-state tuition because of his test scores. He won’t even apply to LSU with what I’ve been seeing.

It’s more than just lowering standards. LSU has been actively recruiting blacks and especially Pell Grant eligible blacks from schools with lower academic standards and inflated grades while not requiring them to submit ACT or SAT as part of calculation to be accepted into LSU, accepted into Honors college, or to receive school funded scholarships/grants. They are recruiting and then helping to pay for these students to come to LSU.

This is finally the end of LSU as it once was. The Rubicon has been crossed and will never go back. Birds coming home to roost and our culture will be destroyed. Sad.

Yup. And look how it turned out. Ruining a good university because of this shite. Ghetto trash ruins everything. Thats why the best of the ghetto get the frick out and don’t come back. Great job LSU.
