Knew both of these kids personally....both great kids. Weather did not play a factor. It was late at night. There are indications the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed. No other contributing factors have been released yet. Very sad.
Believe Blake was a KS at ULL.

Weird place for that to happen.
I hate to speculate, but hitting a tree in a neighborhood just after midnight only leads me to one conclusion.

It had been raining most of the day. Her boyfriend was a Kappa Sig at ULL.
I didn't know them but their families and mine share some mutual friends. As a parent of 2 high school kids, this is my nightmare.

had that been me, at that time of my life, that would have been everyone's natural assumption(or just about any kid at that time)

RIP. Very tragic and sad. Thoughts and prayers to her family, loved ones, and friends.

I'm not sure the families are going this route. Visitations and funerals are coming up Friday so I'd say they are not running any tests based on this timetable.

Maybe so...I've heard rumors but not going to speculate. Will just wait and see what turns up.
