What are the benefits? Should I just try to look into a local chapter?

I probably wouldn't utilize much of that. Is it mainly just tailgates? Any networking opportunity etc?

It's great. Not only do you get the regular letter asking for money but you get the alumni association letter asking for money

I’m set for life thanks to the unwavering support and impregnable bonds created with my fellow Cornellians.

You get to hang out with a bunch of people who complain about LSU coaching at parties catered by Walk-On’s.

Nah...pretty cool magazine and an occasional e-mail. The whole thing basically just kinda keeps you updated as to what is happening in the LSU community.

The local chapters usually have some football watching parties during the season and another event or two during the offseason. I am out of state and the local chapter is a good way to be around some tiger fans from time to time.

I have not been active at all in the association, but have enjoyed being a member anyway.

Don’t work for LSU Alumni. He asked it’s worth joining so I pasted the benefits.

I’ve taken leadership workshops though and they have been worth it.

I always wonder if they vette those blurbs in the class section, to confirm they aren't bullshitting or that they actually graduated.
