I can't confirm.
The airstrip still shows up on FAA maps and the property used to be up for sale a few years ago. You used to be able to drive down the airstrip but I believe they have the driveway chained off now.
The house has flooded several times over the years but at one time it looks like it was a cool spot with a hangar for planes and nice pool.

I think you all are confusing your airstrips. The airstrip Barry used was off of Summerfield in Ascension just downriver from Freds.

I am still at a loss how he could have sat there dead for 12 hours before they discovered it. Suspect was confronted by LSP around 5:00 AM at Hwy 73/Hwy 42 and fled north into EBR and Hoo Shoo Too road. State trooper would have had to been ambushed prior to this yet no one noticed him sitting in a closed down bank parking lot until 6:00 in the evening?
