I’ll gladly pay for this shite. Hell I’ll pay twice.

I lived in Denham when they were still spraying and when they stopped...night and day difference.

But, why not leave it up to the towns to pay for the service? The LP is such a long parish and I know it is probably difficult to spray the areas south of 12.

It should be by city. I know where I live it never worked. But I’m surrounded by woods for miles and in between two rivers. Water is everywhere and roads aren’t. You would have to use crop dusters daily out here to stop the mosquitoes.

“Top” meaning typically in the top school system rankings. And it is not a myth, it’s a great school system. Sorry you got passed over for a job.

All I need to know that you waste a bunch of money and drive too far for sub par education. Just home school your kids instead since you know so much about the school system

If someone doesn’t want this, they are quite stupid.

I would gladly take a mosquito truck to come down the street several times a week during the summer

I see that I ruffled you precious little feathers.. What school are teaching at?? But calling a private school sub par is just plain stupid.. Granted I can't speak for all of them by any means so I wouldn't know about all of them.
The school my children attend is far and away better than the public school option closest to our house.
Also, I do have a bit of insight regarding the LP school system.

lol, no.

The only reason the Socialist Republic of LP “schools” look good is because the Parish sits next to EBR.

Compared to suburban schools in Houston or Austin, LP is shite.

Vote it down if you want to.

But you lose your right to bitch about how bad the mosquitos are.

It didn’t work around my house and I was glad to see it gone.

I’d go as far to say I have less problems today than when they were spraying.

Glad I’m not inhaling that crap anymore as well

If we’re comparing nation wide I am sure there aremuch better schools and districts. There are also probably schools nation wide that make those schools in Austin and Houston look bad. But to try and disparage a district that is almost always in the top statewide but in the bottom for funding is not right. LP should be celebrated for how much they do.
