How is it humanly possible that anyone can enjoy lounge singers? Seriously, is there anything more cringeworthy?
You know, the ones that sing ‘Tie A Yellow Ribbon’ ‘You’re Just To Good To Be True’ etc.
How can anybody see this as entertainment? It’s actually very irritating.

People go to lounges to drink and talk. The entertainment is mostly white noise until they do "Sweet Caroline", then it's lit.

Try to explain karaoke to me in terms I'd understand.
A bunch of no-talent drunks who think they're the next "World's Greatest Singer" who get on stage and make mostly unrecognizable noises while a melody plays to attempt to keep them on time and in tune-----------usually all for naught.
Oh, and they do it loudly too.

I have no problem with lounge singers.
It's guys (or gals) wirh acoustic guitars at Mexican restaurants that bug the crap out of me....
