Is there no 24 hour urgent cares in Louisiana? They are on every corner in Texas and I just looked and can’t find one anywhere in the Nola/BR area

I guess maybe eventually. I know the Lake After Hours have fairly expansive hours and the one on Perkins near Siegen is open till 10 pm. It's almost like if you need care that late at night that it would be an ER situation.

All of the ones here are like 9-9ish if I remember correctly. If you can’t wait until morning, it’s the ER for you

Just do what the majority of LA residents do now that they have Medicaid. Go to the emergency room

Why would you go to an urgent care for a mild fever?

They have lots of urgent cares

They are mostly in middle to upper middle class white areas where people have cash or insurance.

A wedding luncheon on a Friday is not an emergency

Did you not hear him? He has a mild fever. This needs a medical professional’s opinion right now, time be damned.

I mean going to urgent care for a mild fever is part of the reason health costs are the way they are

Well there are plenty of both but you are planning to travel to another city for a 24 hour urgent care? It's 3pm, why do you need a 24 hour one?

If you google "baton rouge urgent care," you get the locations of several. I don't understand how you fricked this up

It’s the mild fever. It’s making him have hallucinations. Show some damn sympathy

Texas has a lot of free standing ERs but just a few 24 Urgent cares. Most are part of the ERs and they try to funnel you to th ER for higher bills.
