ECMWF is way warmer than the NAM right now for the weekend, i would definitely lean on the NAM for shorter range forecasts

I was planning on going to Austin Friday-Tuesday, reconsidering it now but Ms. DS is from Chicago and literally doesn’t understand why wouldn’t go just because it might get down into the teen with a little snow

Because it's above 32 degrees about 800 feet above the ground. This cold arctic air is going to be extremely shallow.

Is GFS trustworthy? Idk how it can be saying 10 degrees in BR Tuesday morning and all the local weather forecasts and iPhone apps say 26
