Stay safe baws. I got woken up an hour ago by a snow plow which still has its lights/siren on at full blast as of it were noon. Now I can't get back to sleep. FML

I'm just not going to bed until someone else wakes up and can take over in the morning.

Only 6 or so more hours to go. It's only about 24 hours.

It's a fun change of pace if you don't lose power, but I can't imagine many people would rather what SLA got vs a normal hot arse day.

I don’t mind days like this as long as we keep power. My fear this time is that my left arm is in a brace from shoulder surgery. So I’m scared that I’ll hurt myself if I slip and fall

Add in Mosquitoes, bugs, leaky roof, no fence, trees down, etc Give me a 2 day winter ice storm event all day every day.

And add in several days of if yard clean up after a hurricane

Give me cold. At work we’re balls to the walls busy and with swamp arse after a hurricane. We’re not able to work until the ice clears. My vacation last week got extended a few more days.

Post hurricane, my vacation would be cancelled.

Give me this any day. We lost power a little while ago. Now just bundled up contemplating whether or not to go deal with the generator. After a hurricane that's not even a question.

Bluebonnet near Blue Cross here- haven’t lost power, feeling pretty fortunate. Home is toasty and water has been dripping all night. Finally got a good night sleep after a week of 3/4 hour nights. We always lose power, so I’ll take this one. So far so good.
