LDH continue to randomly change elements of the dashboard and downloadable data?

I've tried a couple of times to make a simple model tracking case count in 4 parishes. They've butchered the data so much that can't be done.

Is LDH kicking dust in the air so JBE can do whatever he wants?

So much for hospitalizations “trending up”

Great numbers.

However, a sister in law got a positive test result this morning, so it is in the family again.

But she does not have any symptoms. This is consistent with the Louisiana numbers in general which include hundreds of positive tests each day without a corresponding increase in hospitalizations.

If things continue to go like this, we are in great shape.

Any particular reason she got a test?

Yeah the goalposts have definitely moved. Somehow now we are supposed to eradicate the virus with no upticks even though we will lift more restrictions. It's counter-intuitive.

If you have political motives it is intuitive.

Area 7 (Shreveport/Bossier) have the most hospitalizations.

618 hospitalizations for area 7 has to be wrong- there's only 630 state wide.

She had to have an outpatient surgery so she went in on Monday for a pre-surgery test. The result came back positive this morning right as I was about to drive her to the procedure. She had to go in anyway to talk about the positive test.

Last week my wife and one of the ladies who works for us went to a drive through testing place just to have the test done and both were negative. We are in a mass testing stage. The medical facilities are able to handle what we've got in the community. We should still be mindful of the risk to others and do what we can to reduce the risk of spread, but overall we continue to be in great shape.
