I'm not playing this game. I kind of thought you had to be trolling, but I guess not. 
Most all of your uptown places will be fine, so I'm sure you won't have any complaints.

Not sure it will be that bad. When it ends up being $70 round trip ticket and $30/night for a 4 star hotel you will see people coming in.

and dont name 10 that were were a shite...dont name a restaurant that just opened in the past year.

Luckily the city is enough of a destination itself for a 3-5 day trip. IF bars can get open I think you see some ingenuity come into play.

I would have given my left nut to have been able to sit outside these last four weeks and Bayou Beer Garden, Wrong Iron, or the Bulldog.
Hell I even went in a 10 mile bike ride all over the city in Saturday and stopped at four place to get drinks just so I could feel normal.

May through Labor Day is already a dead time of year for the city....come October and the holiday season the city starts jumping and by then we should be very close to back wide open and back to normal. I haven't heard of many conventions cancelling yet...which Sept-Dec is high time for conventions.

On another note, did something officially get changed about restaurants/bars being able to sell to go drinks? Early on the word was only things in sealed containers. Now it seems they are pretty much selling anything at some places.

I havent had any issues walking up and getting to go drinks...even the drive through Daiquiri Shops are selling mix drinks when they used to be able to do that

Yeah the first few weeks were rough with the to-go drink situation. My Mexican place at first wouldn't even sell margaritas. Bartender showed me a copy of the announcement they received about alcohol.
Then I watched the owner of a small Italian place in the city refuse to make cocktails for a couple who stopped in while out on a walk.
