I’d like to see some OTers put their money where their mouth is and attend the rally

I was there
I’m not good at estimating crowds, I’d say 150-200 people
Laine Hardy sang National Anthem
A pastor from Healing Place spoke with an awesome message about the devil dividing communities
The teenage daughter of a Slidell officer who was killed in the line of duty spoke, it was hard not to cry
Bruce Simmons who was injured in the BR ambush spoke & also read a message from one of Nick Tulliers sons who could not attend
The former BR police officer who wrote the song The Thin Blue Line performed
From those of you from Denham Wade Smith (jr high principal) is a pastor, he spoke
Closed out with a gorgeous God Bless America
All proceeds / donations are going to be given to the little boy who fundraises to buy armored police vests
