Damn, got left out again.
If you’re a billionaire, and you make the list of billionaires, you’re doing it wrong. Trust me on this. The reason I’m not on that list is because I don’t want to be on that list.
Believe you me, you.

Are there any states without billionaires?

Oh wow, fun fact, Todd Graves went to UGA, not LSU.

Can someone talk to Todd about McMahon's buyout?
Easy deal to make. You buyout McMahon and we give you a concession stand in the PMAC and the new arena.

Gary Chouest - Edison Chouest Offshore - $2 billion
I wonder how accurate that is

Gayle’s number seems low.
They are just guesses by Forbes. Chouest was worth more than 2 billion 10 years ago. Seriously doubt he isn’t worth way more than that by now.

Why the downvotes for a known true statement?

You could also throw in a Rouse in the mix, with now nearly 100 stores definitely, they should be in the running for the ten digit club, but as with some family businesses, ownership is shared between family members dividing up a multi-billion dollar enterprise.
Also, you may never get a true valuation as most family owned businesses have multiple sub companies and keep their balance sheets away from public scrutiny unlike publicly traded companies.
If you did have a Rouse on the list, that would give Lafourche parish 2 billionaires.

He shares a jet with the Giles dealership guy.
Other than that, low profile guy.

Goldring is pretty low key. Always see him walking in the neighborhood, drives a mid to low model Mercedes sedan, lives in a nice house but it is not anywhere close to the biggest in the neighborhood. Seems to have his head on pretty straight.
