Highly doubtful, percentage wise. From what I can tell, it's about 99% of young black males listen to rap.
As far as blasting it, it's usually a young black guy with rap, and sometimes a young Hispanic or white guy. Blacks blast more often than other demographics I find. The Hispanics usually blast upbeat Mexican music. Whites blast rap or sometimes country. Although a few months ago I saw a black guy blasting Garth Brooks.

I like blasting the Paranoid album by Black Sabbath. Really fills pedestrians with a sense of impending doom.
