Buy on Amazon for $20-$40 and reprogram yourself. Source: myself doing it for a lost 2021 gx460 fob.
Took me 15 minutes

You really need to work on your subtleness. That sucked!

called the Lexus

You HAD to add that in case someone didn't already know it is a Lexus? Sad.

Nearly $400 for it and seemed a tad high.

A "tad" high? Sounds like your "partner" is the husband and you are the wife.

Not sure either way. You can easily find out by looking up the fobs and they’ll tell you which ones they’re compatible for.
Fil has the rx and his fob is the same as our or looks it.

Edit: just looked at the fob picture you posted and I guarantee you can get a universal fob that’ll work for that.

Edit 2: I just looked up the one I got previously. I paid $40. It is now $110

If your life is as complicated as your TD handle, it’s no surprise you lost your key fob

You flushed it down the turlet, didn't you? I only know to ask because I have flushed one down the turlet before.

I lost one in WV on the ski slope during NY. I had to have car towed 150 miles and stay two nights in a hotel waiting for new fob to arrive.

Oh and my girlfriend found my porn stash while I was having her look through my stuff for extra fob.

So I think you’ll live.

Only got 1 with my Tacoma back in 2017. It was used. When it went out I bought 2 for 30 bucks off Amazon and programmed them myself. Of course it’s a key turn ignition. Not push button

Call used car department and ask one of the sales people when the “key guy comes around, you would like to pay cash for a replacement”

Their are a few mob like companies that do less expensive replacement and training it to the car for you. There is a guy working metairie named Karl, I think the company is Key Masters.

If Lexus doesn’t offer this call another used car lot till you get his info.

We (I) have lost one of the keyfobs to my wife's RX 350 and called the Lexus place inquiring about a replacement. It appears they must be made of gold because the quote was $266 + reprogramming fee of $100 plus tax. Nearly $400 for it and seemed a tad high.

thats about average for the chipped keys but if its just a fob those are self programable and cheap to buy on ebay. i bought a set for my truck for $40 and took me 5 minutes to reprogram them. turning key on and off in a set combination sequence, then holding the fob buttons until it resets is all it takes

my niece needed the chipped key for her volvo s40 and they charged her $350 + reprogramming fee of $150 plus tax. $500 + taxes and had to go to baton rouge because new orleans dealership had 6 week wait to do it
