She was 46. She had triple negative breast cancer. She fought and fought but in the end it just wasn't enough. She leaves behind a husband and 2 daughters, and a mom.
Hug your significant other and your kids. Tell them you love them. We aren't guaranteed tomorrow. And take your health seriously. This one has hit hard.
Cancer fricking sucks.

Former classmate lost her husband to prostate cancer this week. Supposed to be one of the more treatable cancers and most men who have it die of something else first. Not in his case. When it came back he had some kind of cutting edge radiation therapy that's only available in a few hospitals. It gave him about 18 more months.

My wife was diagnosed with Triple Negative in 2012. I honestly thought it was her death sentence.
She's still with us today......
I let her know regularly how fortunate she is. We've added 3 grandkids since then.
His Glory Endures Forever.

I feel you. I lost a friend and coworker to colon cancer that was only 48 a few months ago. Only lived 16 months after diagnosis and left behind a beautiful family. I was a very sad deal..

Did she get regular mammograms?

Colonoscopies should really start at 40. Maybe even 35.

Lost my SIL to triple negative just over a year ago. She fought hard and was doing okay until her liver shut down. Cancer sucks so hug em tight!
