I mean Gayle’s track record of running businesses into the ground is close to flawless.

Team executives, however, said later that the club has been withholding payment since December because of the commission's failure to provide requested documentation.
“We have reached out to the LSED on numerous occasions,” the Saints said in a written statement provided by Greg Bensel, the club's senior vice president of communications, broadcasting and community and government relations.
“When the satisfactory documentation is provided, a payment will immediately be authorized," the statement said. "Unfortunately, it was disappointing to hear the comments coming out of the LSED meeting today that the team is not acting in good faith, when, in fact, we feel the opposite is true.”

Wouldn’t shock me what so ever if the saints eventually leave New Orleans due to financial problems like this.
Whether that is to a new city all together with new branding or just to a nearby city like Metairie or Slidell. Many teams across pro sports don’t play in the city that’s in their name for various reasons. You’re better off just having them in the metro area than losing them all together.
Raceland Saints has a nice ring to it. Or Maybe Morgan City Saints?

It’s strange the team is owned by a billionaire and the taxpayers have had to subsidize the Caints since 1967?

Complete the package and send 'em to Salt Lake City. The Mormons will dig "Utah Saints", and they have lots of that Marriot money.
Salt lake just got the coyotes over Houston. They don’t need a football team

I don’t think Jerry Jones would allow a franchise to move to San Antone. Doesn’t want the competition for fans.

If the city loses the saints it’s over for sure. Murders will go up another 300%
