My only issue with a 4" slab, would be if he's in southern Louisiana on poor soils. But with fiber, it would probably be okay.

i have a 125' driveway, 4" thick with fiber, 13 years old no cracks.

The incremental cost of 6" vs 4" on a small job is well worth it.

I believe it was 4". Residential driveway. That includes the short charge for being less than 6 yards.
