Author.

I have also modeled and have written greeting cards for Hallmark. My nursing career wasn’t fulfilling.

I have had this pair for about 2 years. Solid shoe. A little annoying to buy because they are “made to order” and it took 8 weeks to arrive.

Used to wear Cole Haan or Johnston and Murphy and they all have white bottoms

DISLIKE. WTf with the white bottoms. Not everybody always wants to play basketball. Looks ridiculous on middle aged men who could not knock down a layup if they tried (I am one of those men).

The Parigi Driver is arguably the only Italian driver that matches TOD'S quality/comfort and unfortunately price as well.

The durability of the parigi is far superior to TOD’s.

I've only seen people in Italy and other parts of Europe dress like that.

You apparently don’t visit trendy locales because loafers are worn by many a tourist out west.

Allen Edmonds is always the answer. I don’t wear loafers and probably never would, but that’s just me. I do have about seven pairs of lace up AE shoes and would highly recommend.

Caring about what other men wear is far more gay than actually wearing loafers.

You must have missed the thread title. OP is looking for loafer recommendations from OT style gurus. That’s me.

I am obviously a style guru and I don’t approve of loafers on American men. Only European guys who share your dreams and inner turmoil can get away with it.

I don't believe you are a style guru. I bet you don't even buy American made clothing.

Great thing about being an old guy. I don’t give a frick what’s in style and don’t have it. Merrill’s they are super comfortable.
