Pardon my ignorance.

There are lots of great destinations in the Caribbean. Do you have activities you want to do on an island or is it just lounge around and eat, drink and be honeymooners?

Lounge around, eat, drink, be lazy, etc.

I maybe shave a couple days off and maybe stay 5 instead of 7. That way you can do something a little better than sandals.

Providenciales, Turks & Caicos. Grace Bay Beach was just voted the #1 beach in the world and it's deserving of the rank. Great restaurants, friendly people and drop dead gorgeous beaches and water.

Palace resorts are all inclusive and relatively inexpensive.

Wife and I somewhat roughed it in Jost Van Dyke on a rec from the OT. Roughed it in that we were not at an all inclusive resort. Had a house with a 5 minute walk down to a private beach. Cooked a few nights in our house. Had about a mile hike to the closest road to catch a taxi. Total cost was about $5k. Had a blast. Completely secluded.

Sandals. Been to two, not that crazy of a night life. But it is awesome to get there put your wallet in the safe and not have to worry about it until you leave. Splurge and get the minibar in the room, they refill it multiple times a day. You have nothing to worry about the entire time you are there, you could literally stay in bed all day and they would bring you free food and alcohol. And then clean it up. Can't wait for my next trip.
