Crew, 3.5eco, leather (heated/cooled), sun roof (single is fine), sony sound system. Pretty sure the lariats come with everything else (navigation, large screen display, power seats, folding mirrors)

502A is great with LED lights. Unreal how good they are.

Hey no doubt the Ford is an excellent product. Heck even their GT Ferrari killer has a twin turbo 6 banger.

But it will happen eventually and this is not an anti-government rant; it's an anti-epa rant.

I suspect a good portion of these failures are from people tuning the trucks I.E. turning the boost up.

you suspect incorrectly then. About half of the failures that have come through him this year (I think last count was about 6 engine replacements this year all ecoboost) have been for timing chains breaking and fricking up the motors. The Ecoboost has three chains on it and two turbos, there is just a lot to go wrong.

do you know if there is a way to check if these trucks have been tuned and then flashed back? a lot of the TT motor failures in other platforms I am involved in have timing/head problems from over revving.

I don't really care though as I had a 11 5.0 and now a 16 EB,b both have been great and I don't really keep them too much past the warranty anyway. I like the lower end torque of the EB though and the feel of the turbos spooling as I have had a few TT cars. Also do you know how old these trucks were? Seems like i heard about more failures back in 11 and 12.

All that being said, if I planned on keeping one a long time i would probably get the 5.0.

Only thing I wish was that the fogs and license plate lights were LED as well.

Good news is that it looks like the 2017 Super Duty trucks have that as an option.

Bought this 2015 KR last month, sticker was $65K paid $52K. Originally went in to get an XLT but couldn't find one with the extended fuel tank and navigation, the two options that I really wanted. The dealer wanted to get this one off the lot and sold it for a couple thousand less than invoice. I feel like this was a pretty good deal but still more than I originally planned to spend. Went with the 3.5 ecoboost, wife has the same engine in her Expedition.

I prefer OEM upgrades to aftermarket. I imagine aftermarket License plate LEDs are probably fine but I'm real interested in the Fogs.
