Grew up Palm Beach County; went to school with his nephew and his half-brother was our football coach my freshman year. Burt was odd in that even the people who liked him were somewhat split on him. He could be really cool and generous to a fault. And then turn around and be an inveterate a-hole to those closest to him.

FWIW, my classmate (his nephew) said that Sally Field was the love of his life and that he regretted til he died screwing that up. Also was very complimentary about Dinah Shore.

That really surprised me, Dinah was as wholesome and goodie two shoes as it got to me and I was shocked she wound up dating Burt.

I’m sorry to hear about Loni, it’s crazy to see these actors and musicians who were young when I was coming up basically dying of old age related conditions. She was very easy on the eyes for sure….

And that one will hurt. And iconic actor and personality. His wisecracking humor is one for the ages. From what I’m hearing is that he can’t speak much anymore. So sad.

He's in horrible health. Has dementia. Can't speak, read, or walk according to recent articles.

Right. As a kid, I had Farah's iconic poster, then I added Loni's roo. That was the late 70s...'78 or "79. .
