long shot board: Anyone ever scored Disneyland Twilight tickets without a convention pass

Not OT-poor just a cheap skate. Wife really wants to see this one ride at Disneyland. (Nightmare before Christmas Haunted Mansion) but I don't want to pay $112 each for one ride. They sell 1/2 tickets to convention members. I got a link to buy the 1/2 tickets BUT, it asks for credentials and they can ask for a convention badge at the gate.
I ask because this place is so large, someone is everywhere on here.
I'm thinking the $100 after 4pm parkhopper is the deal. I know Disney World sucks, but we are talking Land, and it's Cali not florida..... which is probably worse than Florida, sorry, the water and beaches here suck, lol and the traffic, never ending traffic.

BUT if anyone has any tips or understands what I am talking about I would be very very happy.

If anyone helps I can give you a Compoton hat signed by MC ren. Some guy on Hollywood was saying he was Ren and signing hats. I don't know what Ren looks like so I paid $10 for one.
