Long lines at the grocery store already.

could be snowmageddon that’s taking place less than 24 hours away

2 days of snow and ice and there is panic buying. Sheeeeesh.

Already? I went to the store Saturday late afternoon (this past football season I had to go to the store at halftime of the UCLA game and I learned that other than early morning, especially Sundays, and learned that Saturday late afternoons is the best time to go shopping) and there were lines. I didn't think about it until later that people were likely preparing for the cold weather.

I don't think I ever remember preparing like this for the cold. I mean, I understand there will be a stretch of time when the temps will be below freezing.. Power could go out, but why the sudden rush to the store? I buy 2 cases of bottled water at a time so I am always good on water. I keep batteries in stock.. I have a gas stove (for those with electric I assume you have a backup plan when needed).. What are people stocking up on? The power can go out at anytime for multiple days and I am always prepared for at least 3 or 4 days.. I can be good for 6 or 7 days if needed. Canned goods and what not.

So I am just curious what are so many people going to the store to get?

When do we get free gas?
