They were supposed to be making fusion reactors the size of an 18-wheeler but that was ten years ago.

Rumors are it’s either the portable fusion reactor or Darkstar is real. Either way the plasma signals something cool

They lost HACM. HALO was cancelled. ARRW isn’t a go again for sure yet. LRHW isn’t worth a teaser vid at this point. And LRASM, while being shoved down the throat at $10M per, isn’t hypersonic. My guess is it’s either X59, some low speed expendable, or the CCA thing being pushed by AF.

Well of course... now it all make sense.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who was lost. Lmao

Pretty sure that's Northrop Grumman, not Lockheed.

Whatever it is, China will have a copy 3 years later. Our nation is either incompetent, full of sell-out traitors, or both when it comes to shite like this.

SKYNET T-1000 has finally arrived.
Let the fun begin.

How long before China has something Similiar? Will say their Spy game is much better than ours.

Dammit, I was really hoping for this:

Another poster said hypersonics.
I responded to that post with my reasoning as to why I would be surprised if it was hypersonics related because most of those programs either went to another contractor, got cancelled, or were many years into development already.
I then ended the post with what I thought the announcement was about instead of hypersonics.

Just another subsonic drone. This one was too high-end and lost the first round of collaborative wingman to other contractors’ cheaper, less stealthy, less survivable options. They just repackaged it to have a press release. Hasn’t even flown yet per their claim.

I had products that needed customization to be used in Skunkworks, and these products included embedded wireless communications that were integrally designed in, and they needed them to be completely eliminated or they could never enter a building that they would only ever leave after being crushed and destroyed.
So we created a custom firmware that once installed, no wifi, no GPS, no proximity sensing, no Bluetooth, no wireless connectivity at all was present. Furthermore, any attempt to reverse it or install any previous or future firmware would automatically brick the product and set off a massive electrical spike to the volitile and non-volitile memory products. They purchased and destroyed a dozen units to prove it, having their teams and NASA JPL try to defeat it.
After they were convinced, these units were accepted and documented and then we could sell these all across the intelligence agencies and they could be confident that the devices could not be compromised. They are very thorough and extremely secretive.
