Literally got a phone call while at work from our realtor.
The sellers of the mobile home my dad is supposed to close on next month are backing out of the sale now. They didn't get approved for the home they were building. So they can't sell the place cause they have to continue living in it now. Wouldn't you figure this shite out before listing your fricking house???
My dad is gonna be devastated when I tell him the news. He was finally in a good mood today as well cause my brother from CA drove to AZ to visit them. I'm gonna ruin his weekend/holiday by giving him the news. Do I tell him tomorrow by phone? Or Sunday(the next time I see him)?

Well, I would probably wait until Sunday, but I tend to hate delivering bad news and want people to be able to be happy as long as possible. Even if they would probably be better served to hear the news sooner.
But if you go ahead and tell him then maybe by the time you see him he will have processed it and will be over the initial shock.
Plus if he knows you found out today and didn't tell him til Sunday he might be like WTF.
Cliff's, I would probably wait, but the right thing to do is probably go ahead and tell him.

Well with the holiday it's not like anything can be done this weekend. Our realtor is furious with the sellers (with mobile homes it's different....she represents both of us). She already told the sellers that we could technically sue them and that they have to refund any money we have paid so far (home inspections, background checks for mobile home community, appraisal, etc).

Yeah, I would definitely want that $$ back. That's not even counting the time lost that could have been spent looking for another place.
