So if someone says they're going to Tampa with you, that doesn't necessarily mean they're taking you to Florida.

Just so you know.

Rev

I personally love the Tampa area. The beaches and restuarants are great. The women are beautiful(some are crazy) but traffic can be a beast most of the time.

Ok. Tampa was a culture shock for me when I first went there. It's trendy and the arts and theater stuff are big down there. My theory is that there are alot of people from New York that have second homes down there and retire there so they brought alot of it with them. I like the vibe down there.

I guess now is a good time as any to pour one out for Saint. I mean the thread has his name in it.

Lol. I've figured out that for me, the more selfies a woman takes, the less chemistry I'll have with them. I knew a lot of photographers in Nola. But I can't deal with excessive selfies.

Mannnnn. I could plot everywhere I've lived and it wouldn't be 50 miles from one end to the other.

I need to get the frick out of Louisiana

I've never hit the Amite. Only Bogga Chitto (sp?)

But when I move back, I'm bringing an 18' canoe with me. I'm looking forward to paddling some rivers along the gulf. I particularly like the Escatapwa skiing the Mississippi/Alabama border.

Jeep it's a big world and it has alot to offer. Trust me I grew up in Louisiana but the best move I ever made was to get the hell out of it.

Evening flboo

In heaven, there are cold, snow capped mountains.

In hell, there are hot, sandy beaches.

I know a lot of people love the beach but I could live the rest of my days without seeing one and it wouldn't hurt my feelings one bit.

Yep. I hated Orlando. But I lived in several places as a kid. Since I moved away, I've been in Asheville, NC, New Orleans, Denver/Boulder, Houston (for 6 months because of work), and now Fayetteville. And in a few weeks, I'll be living in Mobile for the first time in 30 years.

The best thing about moving, is I know where I would be happy settling down.

Unfortunately for me, I'm happiest in New Orleans. Against all logic and rational thought. But that shite hole has me by the heart strings. But it's definitely paradise for a drummer that loves funk.

It also doesn't hurt that the couple times I've gone back to visit since moving, I've gotten fricked up and ended up on a stage.

Alot do. Luckily for me I got to see what it was like away from Louisiana in my early teens. My dad lived in Palm Springs calfornia and I got to visit during 5he summers. A 16 year old driving around palm Springs and seeing the dimes walking around opened my eyes
All joking aside the beauty of San Diego and palm Springs really made Louisiana look bad.
