I know a lot of people love the beach but I could live the rest of my days without seeing one and it wouldn't hurt my feelings one bit.

My favorite mountains are still the Appalachians. I love to paddle and swim. And the water is too cold in the Rockies.

I am a beach loving surfer dude. I love palm trees, ladies in bikinis, and good seafood. I live in North florida because we do get a little of the seasonal weather but all these recent damn hurricanes got me looking further inland.

Pioneer your Ozark mountains aren't too bad either. I made a few trips through them growing up.

Made one memorable trip with my grandparents to Branson, Missouri and I will never forget the drive in crown Victoria and the view of the Ozarks.

There isn't as much nice stuff in the Ozarks as in the Appalachians. But what they have, is phenomenal. The Upper section of the Buffalo River is one of the coolest paddles I've ever done. Incredible scenery, but mellow enough rapids, that I'd put my grandmother in the front of my boat. Plus, you can pullover where you want, and set up camp.

Jacksonville isn't too bad. I hear a lot of good things about St Augustine.

I'm looking forward to Mobile. I have a lot of family there, it's 2 hours from Nola to get my music fix, and an hour from nice beaches. I have family in Perdido and Pensacola. My cousin is actually living on his sailboat in downtown p cola right now.

I'll have plenty of fun things to do while I'm down there.

We camped the Buffalo near Jasper years ago. There is/was a nudist colony somewhere along the way.

Crossed paths with them in the river & sunning themselves. Two words - meatball titties.

Mrs reverendotis drank some soy milk a while back and proceeded to reenact The Exorcist later that night.

I am actually alot closer to St.Augustine than I am jacksonville. St.Augustine is really a cool place. Jacksonville has come along way from when I first moved here over 20 years ago

Nothing worse than food poisoning. I thought I was going to die about 5 years ago after eating at a golden corral in Orlando. I have not set foot in another one since.

Good friend's elderly mother bought a spread in Live Oak a few years ago. Have only seen pictures but the area looked nice.

I'm either too old, or too young to know what that's supposed to mean.
