Probably about a week. I have an 800 mile drive, and I'll have an 18' canoe strapped to my car. So I might have to split up the drive between a couple days.

My low was falling asleep drunk in a company truck and hitting a parked car next to a bar 6 blocks from my house. If it hadn't have been the old black Grandma who raised half the neighborhood, I'd have been arrested, lost my job, and would have to start an entirely new career. Neighbors even told me how lucky I was, as I was changing her tire, that it was her car I hit.
Either that, or waking up to an empty condom wrapper, and no calls or texts from my phone. I can only assume I blacked out, went to the same bar, and picked up a floozy. Though I was glad I at least used a condom.
I left Nola pretty soon after those incidents, and haven't driven after touching a drop ever since. And alcohol was never a problem for me. But it's easy to do stupid shite chasing pussy after a bad break up in a 24/7 party town. That, and I was in the best shape of ever been in my life. So I was just acting like a whore.
